Print Making Project
This interesting and unique project used print making to create. To start this off, we laid a stencil on a gel pad and painted it. Then, we peeled the stencil off and laid our paper down, using our roller to roll the back of the paper to ensure our pattern was visable, After we created different prints, we used stencils to cut them into squares and then laid them down on a piece of construction paper to create a pattern. We then glued the pieces down to create a paper quilt. This could easily be incorporated into history. After completing this lesson, we could move on into a lesson about Native American history due to the fact that they used many different patterns to create beautiful quilts.
