Hidden Safari
This hidden safari was an engaging activity that children would lvoe! In order to complete this assignment, we used an upside-down drawing technique. After we drew the animal lightly in blue (a cool color), we then drew differetn shapes with different patterns in orang, red, and yellow (warm colors.) Then, we created glasses with a red lense film. After we put our glasses on, we could see our safari animals! After this activity, we could incorporate it into science. An extension activity could be to compare this project with warm and cool colors to camouflage. Then, we could teach students about camouflage and different animal adaptations.
